OPSUCA recently (February 2011) conducted a statistical analysis of the past two years to determine its winning percentage. We were pleasantly surprised by what we discovered. OPSUCA has a higher winning percentage in every category than the average of employers’ winning percentage in Oklahoma. Each year, the OESC calculates the average winning percentage of employers and claimants for misconduct claims, voluntary quit claims, and on appeal. The average percentages don’t vary much from year to year; if there is a change, it is normally just a percentage point in one direction or the other. The statistics for the average employers’ winning percentage was pulled from the OESC website. Our winning percentages are a testament to the dedication OPSUCA has to reducing unemployment costs’ for public schools, interlocals, and career techs. Way to go, OPSUCA!!
